Rock Lake is likely the most private and wholly owned lake in the Adirondacks available today. The 195 acre and 1.5 mile lake is surrounded by 2600 +/- acres. There is excellent hunting and a world class brook trout fishery. A camp, guest cabin and boathouse all have commanding views of the lake. It is protected by an early conservation easement (1978), the real estate taxes are exceptionally low. There are four additional APA approved lakeside building sites, for further development or conservation opportunities. New York State Forever Wild land surrounds the property on three sides. Both Beaver River and Stillwater Reservoir frontage. Access is by gated gravel road, via the Lake Lila Access Road. Rock Lake is one of the last family owned pieces of the fabled 45,000 acre Vanderbilt-Webb Ne-Ha-Sa-Ne Park. It is now offered for the first time in more than 125 years.
