Wonderful family vacation spot

We loved this condo, mostly for its location and views and would definitely be happy to rent it again. My husband and I and our three adult children stayed there for a week in July. The balcony, dining room, master bedroom and master bathroom all face Mirror Lake. At all times of day the views were beautiful, serene, calming and soothing. The location of the condo is just one block off Main Street, an easy walk to all the stores, restaurants and Olympic Center. In addition, it is an easy drive from there to any other shopping or sites you wish to visit. The condo was clean and well stocked and had ample accoutrements for the five of us who stayed there, including towels, pillows, linens, dishes and cooking equipment. Each bedroom had a bathroom, and the master bathroom had a huge sunken whirlpool tub in addition to a shower. We were allowed full use of the High Peaks Resort, right across the street. This included their indoor and outdoor pools and use of the non-motor lake equipment, including paddle boards and kayaks. Only non-motorized boating is allowed on Mirror Lake, contributing to the quiet we so enjoyed. We did have a few negatives, which I mention so they can be addressed, not because they would keep us from returning. Some of the condo was looking a bit worn, particularly the screen door leading to the balcony. The weather stripping was falling off and there was no spring, which made the door bang shut if not held. The air conditioners in each bedroom seemed old and inefficient. The fans had to be used in addition to the AC in order to cool, especially the upstairs bedrooms. While the king bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable, we heard that the queen in the second bedroom was old and sank in. The seating in the living room was rather limited, with a small couch and a recliner. Not enough comfortable seating for 5. There could have been better lighting in many of the rooms. The second bedroom with the queen bed had only one small lamp and it was always dark in there and difficult to read in bed. The only thing missing in the kitchen which we would have liked was a blender. We had three cars with us. There is parking right in front of the unit for one vehicle. We had access to the garage opposite the entrance but we found that it was too tight to manipulate getting in and out of the garage, especially if any neighbors had their cars in front. So our other two cars were parked a bit down the hill.
Great Location

Very convenient to main street and great to have the larger space and privacy of a private rental combined with access to High Peaks Resort amenities (boats, paddleboards,etc.).
