Michelle’s Bio
Michelle LeBlanc Blair is a native of Tupper Lake. At an early age, she moved to South Florida spending every summer in Tupper Lake. She. received her MBA from Nicholls State University in South Louisiana before beginning her publishing career in sales in North Texas. In 1999, she moved back to the northeast residing in Vermont. After almost 30 years in publishing in NYC/NJ as a sales rep, manager of a technology training and working in global sales operations, Michelle is excited to join the Gillis Team at Merrill Thomas!
Since 2006, Michelle has owned and operates P-2’s Irish Pub in Downtown Tupper Lake that has been in her family for over 55 years. In her spare time, you will find Michelle boating, kayaking, golfing, hiking, painting, cross country skiing, listening to live music and spending time with her fiancé and his family of 5 and grandchildren.

We first started doing business with Merrill L Thomas Agency in the early 1990’s when we would rent properties for a week’s stay in the Lake Placid region for the family and friends. Our experience was always positive as they had excellent service and wonderful locations.
So, flash forward 30 years and it is no wonder that we looked to Merrill L Thomas to help us fulfill a lifelong dream of buying our own vacation home in the Adirondacks. We saw a home that we were interested in that happened to be listed by a Merrill agent, Michelle LeBlanc Blair, so we started there. Michelle did not just try to “sell” us her listing, but worked to find us a home that most met our needs. She literally took us from the far southern corner of the ADK to the far north in search of this home. She
continued to help us negotiate a deal that felt fair even after a couple fell through. This included bringing her broker in to get another opinion on some deals that didn’t feel right. Two months later, we had our deal, and then the real work began. Michelle helped us with finding inspectors, insurance agents, lawyers and lenders. She came to the inspection herself and even sat in at the closing for us when we were unable to get there ourselves that day.
Even now, almost 6 months after that closing, she has followed up with us to ensure that all is as expected. It is, and I highly recommend considering using Michelle and Merrill L Thomas for all your ADK adventures in real estate!
