Bob’s Bio
I was in the Navy for 6 years after High School - We traveled a lot and I learned about the world and humanity in a way that only travel and experience can provide. Honorably Discharged/Recommended for Retention. Proud to have served.
After that I earned a B.A. in Business with Concentrations in Finance and Economics from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.
I initially went to work for Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant in Albany, NY after earning the Federal and State Securities and Insurance licenses required.
In 1993 I moved to Saranac Lake and raised a family. Both of my kids have since moved away. My daughter is pursuing a graduate degree in South Carolina, and my son graduated and moved to SoCal with a plan to make it in the Real Estate business. Now he's back on the right coast. My wife and I enjoy traveling but we still love the things we moved here for- room to breathe, clean air and water and a true sense of community.
On a lark, I earned a License to Guide and taught Rock and Ice climbing for a few seasons after moving here.
For more than 20 years I have been a Full - Time Realtor, actively helping clients buy and sell Real Estate in and around the Adirondacks. I worked at Sotheby’s International Realty for many years and now proudly hang my license with Merrill L. Thomas, Inc in Lake Placid, NY.
